Apply Mehndi (Henna) Mask For Beautiful Hair

Mehndi (Henna) Mask For Hair

Mehndi (Henna) is considered as a natural conditioner for your hair.  Since my childhood I have seen my mother applying henna mask on her hair every month or fortnight and till date she never used any colorant or dyes on her hair.

She has a much thicker and lustrous hair than what I have. I use to color my hair before but I found that my grey hair were increasing plus quality of hair was decreasing so I thought to give henna mask a try and now after using it for 6 months I must say that my hair quality has improved a lot. I add many things to my henna pack and apply it to my hair for approximately 2 hours and then wash it simply with plain water. For me it has done wonders providing my hair volume and shine. I could also see that my hair quality has improved a lot over time. I faced the problem of grey hair since childhood but now over time that has also been helped.

So hopefully this helps you as well. It does not matter whether you’re male or female, anyone can use this henna mask.

Now I will tell you in detail what exactly do you need and how to prepare the paste/mask for applying to your hair.

Items you will need:

Henna – depending on your hair length

Eggs – 2 (nos)

Curd – 3 tbsp

Black tea – 1 cup

Beetroot juice – 1⁄2 cup

Amla powder – 3 tbsp

Hibiscus powder – 3 tbsp

Coffee powder – 3 tbsp

Neem powder – 1 tbsp

Procedure:

● Mix henna powder, amla, neem, hibiscus, neem powder in an iron bowl.

● Now add black tea water and beetroot juice gradually. Keep on stirring it continuously so that no lumps are formed. Moreover let the paste be thick if needed and add water before applying.

● Add curd to it along with coffee powder & keep it soaked overnight.

So now let me tell you why I use so many things while preparing the henna mask.

I use iron bowl because I don’t want my hair look brown though coffee and black tea makes it dark brown and beetroot juice helps with hair loss.

Amla is rich in vitamin C which is crucial for hair growth along with hibiscus which also helps our hair in many ways, like in controlling hair fall by strengthening and conditioning the roots, it also provides shine, adds volume, and also gives a reddish tint to the hair.

Neem has so many anti fungal properties which is necessary to fight any infections on the scalp and also helps with dandruff. And curd helps to give shine and dandruff free hair. It also provides many nutrients for silky hair. You can also apply curd and eggs once in a week for healthier hair.

OK so in the morning before applying the henna mask/paste to hair, please mix eggs to this paste and if required then only add water. Make sure you do not use hot tea water while making the paste. It should be cooled completely or else it will form lumps.

Hope you try this hair mask too and get desired results for your hair.
